        National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar along with the University of Mumbai- Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) Mumbai. The varsity holds the NEST in computer-based mode for candidates seeking admission to 5 year integrated MSc programmes. Selected candidates are offered admission to five-year integrated MSc programs in various subjects such as Basic Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics at NISER Bhubaneswar or UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai.

11. GAT-B    (Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology)   
      The NTA conducts the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology. Earlier, the GAT-B was conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and was called the Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology or CEEB. The candidates who will qualify the GAT-B 2021 will be admitted to PG in Biotechnology such as M.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Tech. Biotechnology, M.V.Sc. and M.Sc. in allied areas. The 34 participating universities offer a total of 1,127 seats in 62 PG to candidates through GAT-B 2021
